$10K No-Limit Hold’em 6-Max Championship Extended for an Additional Day
Event #90: $10,000 6-handed No-Limit Hold’em Championship was initially set to conclude on July 16. However, with four players remaining in the running for the top prize of $1,057,663, tournament staff decided to call it a day, setting the stage for an unscheduled Day 4.
Each of the remaining contenders has achieved significant milestones in their poker careers, making the potential for any of them to become a two-time champion on July 17 a thrilling prospect. Frenchman Alexandre Reard leads the pack, who, with 18,450,000 chips, holds almost three times the amount of Stephen Chidwick’s 6,950,000. Also in contention are AJ Kelsall (4,500,000) and Justin Liberto (3,100,000). Reard is the clear frontrunner heading into Day 4 with more chips than his three competitors combined.
August Leads the Final 18 in $3K H.O.R.S.E. into Day 2
In Event #91: $3,000 H.O.R.S.E., Leonard August, holding 1,926,000 chips, leads the remaining 18 players into the final day. He’s currently on track to win his first gold WSOP bracelet and the top prize of $208,460. While August is in the lead, the talent-packed field of contenders implies his victory is far from guaranteed.
The top ten players overnight include notables such as Nick Guagenti (1,700,000), Calvin Anderson (1,388,000), Todd Brunson (1,285,000), Barbara Enright (1,040,000), Kevin Gerhart (966,000), and Chad Eveslage (785,000). These 18 players will return to their seats at 1:00 p.m. local time on July 17.

At the end of 17 levels, Ian Steinman, with 883,000 chips, bagged the largest stack among the 124 remaining players, bolstering his prospects of becoming a two-time WSOP champion. Dylan Wilkerson ended Day 1 with the second-largest chip stack of 691,000, closely followed by Russia’s Nikolai Tulin with 646,000.
