GGPoker Hosts SBC Poker Championship and Donates €10,000 to Associação Salvador

Over 250 industry figures take part in €100K freeroll in Lisbon

GGPoker, the World’s Biggest Poker Room, is proud to announce the successful conclusion of the SBC Poker Championship, a live poker tournament hosted at Casino Lisboa on September 26 as part of the SBC Summit 2024, a prestigious gaming conference. The highlight of the event was GGPoker’s donation of €10,000 to Associação Salvador, a leading Portuguese charity focused on supporting individuals with motor disabilities.

GGPoker is committed to giving back to the communities in which it operates, and this donation reflects the company’s dedication to supporting meaningful causes. Associação Salvador has made a significant impact in improving the lives of those living with disabilities, providing vital resources, support, and advocacy.

The SBC Poker Championship attracted 285 players, many of whom were leading figures in the gaming industry. As a free-to-enter event, the tournament provided an exciting opportunity for networking and friendly competition, not to mention the allure of a generous €100,000 in prizes. The top 100 players were awarded cash prizes, ranging from €400 for the 100th-place finisher to €10,000 for the eventual champion.
